Hello! This is a message from the admin, I have some explaining to do. As you all have most likely known for some time, I have lost interest in maintaining Nyoka over the last two years. We built a pretty incredible world here. It pains me to see the state it is currently in (there's actually no need for me to be so melodramatic, seeing as the site is still completely functional. I'm more or less disappointed in the way I let my interest insidiously slip through my grasp). All of that being said, I'd like to make a promise that it will not die! The Nyoka concept is a great one and I plan to expand on it in very big ways.
But, for now, Nyoka is on indefinite hold.
Allow me to explain. My music has become much more demanding, more than I initially anticipated, and I haven't been able to keep up with the game (though it's been running its background processes smoothly the entire time). The entire concept still piques my imagination and I will always have a special place for it in my heart.
However, for the time being, Nyoka will remain dormant. The site will still function as it always has, but there won't be much activity update-wise/creature-wise. My music (here's a link: Ninth Parallel) has taken highest priority at the moment and I haven't had the time to expand on Nyoka the way I want to. In the future, I do plan on doing something rather large with this entire concept, but that will remain behind closed doors for the time being. Whenever I get the opportunity to break ground on that, I will be posting updates all over the website for those who still frequent it.
That's all I have to say at the moment. Thank you all for sticking with the game and with me over the years, you are all incredible!
