| False Flower Spiders are a common species in warm, wet areas and can grow to be up to be over an inch in size. Their flowery coloration lures nectar- and pollen-feeding insects into the large webs they construct. Although their bright colors makes them easy to spot, their spikes deter many predators from attempting to eat them. In temperate climates they are most prolific in fall, but in tropical areas they can be found year-round. |
