Well Dia was the nickname of a character I was creating (her real name was Claudia). I initially used Dia on another forum first. Then when I signed up for Nyoka I used it here too. Sadly, I forgot to capitalize. By the time I realized my mistake and thought better on it, I already had a few creatures I didn't want to part with.

Although Sif is the name of a Norse Goddess, I actually picked up the name from the name of the orbital station AI on the planet Harvest in the Halo series, which is stated in the book Harvest. The AI Sif managed all the ships coming and going from the Tiara, the orbital space station that surrounded the agricultural planet, and had a developing "relationship" (as much as computers can have, at least) with the agricultural management AI on the surface, named Mack.

Lovely story just between the two of them on the side throughout the book, and there is a 6-page section at the end dedicated to them. It's after the Covenant had pushed everyone off the planet and destroyed the Tiara (thus killing Sif), and is a record of the love messages being sent from Mack on the surface up into space, as he's saying farewell to her and watching the planet be glassed, as he hides in all the farm equipment's little computers (breaking down as a result of it, between the Covenant destroying the equipment they come across and him stuffing himself into smaller and smaller computers), so the messages decay as they go on..... it's only 6 pages but those are some of the saddest pages I think I've ever read.

And so, in honor of that, and for randomness' sake (since I decided spontaneously that I didn't want to use my other online name, Moonlitwings) when I signed up for DC, I did so under the name of Sif. Annnd... it's rather stuck for other sites, as well, though I still use Moonlitwings on the RP sites I am in.

Well its clear my first name is Ashley so that parts no mystery to any of you.
The dmeon part goes way back. and comes from many interesting things.

1 obvious part is the fact i adore creepy and devilish creatures and moreso i love drawing them more then anything, dragon, evil snakes, demonic creatures, and evil stuff i made up! all so fantastic too make and i loved drawing them!

Anotehr part is a book i used to have: Amazing creeps, wich was an collectable enceclopedia (nerd!) full of existing and non-existing creepy animals, dinosaurs and myths. I loved the book, and knew every page.
mostly i loved the part of Myths, wich i serval demons and great pictures of them!
Such as Cerberus, Dragons, Nightmare horses and Minotaurs!
I loved the book, and was sad when i lost it, still looking as i still want it back.

a 3rd reason for demon is that when i was little i was a realy.. diffrent kid then the rest.. and i loved mimicing animals from growling like wolves to roaring as a dinosaurus.. i managed to mak it realitic.. and was even called a demon by some kids..

Thats where the DEMON in my username comes from..

a side username of mine is KIRU, wich is simply the name of my wolf chracters and she became so wellknown and Demonashley was toolong in a lot of chats so people called me Kiru, these days i even get called Kiru at school by goodfriends.

Me and my friend were looking for a cool Dragon Cave name. So i went on google translate and started translating some words. XD Eventually found this once my translating love into Danish. My friend doesn't use this name no more. It's mine. haha! I use it for most everything now on the internet.

Well, Lesley was the name of my first ever player character in Pokemon when I was like 5, and it's also a name I like and prefer to my real name (Alice.) It's kind of stuck with me through internet spacetime and recently I started attaching the _Dracken to it, just to shake things up.
